Cara MacKenzie is a Glasgow based actor and writer who is currently in her BA year at New College Lanarkshire, where she most recently played Helena in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. She is currently rehearsing for her final third year show where she will be playing Ollie in 'Pomona'.  

Cara is a lover of history and literature and as a result is hugely passionate about pursuing work in classical theatre and work in period dramas. She would love to work across stage and screen.

As well as acting, Cara is a keen writer. She combines her skills of writing short stories and poetry with her acting knowledge in order to create plays. Over the next year she hopes to work on bringing her play from page to stage with the hopes of eventually taking it to scratch nights and then the Fringe.
